2016 City-Bay Fun Run


 

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2016 "Burn to the Bay" team! Over 150 people joined us early Sunday morning to walk or run the 12km, 6km or 3km in this year's City-Bay Fun Run. Once complete runners relaxed with a post race massage from the team at Flex Rehabilitation followed by a well earned breakfast cooked by the wonderful members of the Lions Club of Brighton kindly donated by MyButcher, Rohde Farm and Bakers Delight.

FIRST AID QUICK GUIDE

1. REMOVE
Remove any clothing and jewellery from the affected area to allow effective cooling of the burn.
2. COOL
Cool the burn under cool running water for 20 minutes - this will stop the burning process and also help ease the pain.
3. COVER
Cover the burn with a clean lint free cloth or if it is a large area, cover loosely with cling wrap to lessen the chance of infection.
4. SEEK
Seek medical advice if the burn is larger than a 20 cent piece or on the face, hands, feet or groin area.
