Thanks to the support of the Ian Potter Foundation we are pleased to announce Aboriginal Health Worker Travel Grants to attend the ANZBA Aboriginal Health Worker Burns Seminar in Darwin on 5th October 2010. The Julian Burton Burns Trust, along with our partners the Ian Potter Foundation and Burns SA, are dedicated to supporting Health Workers to stay at the forefront of burns prevention and care and are excited to announce travel grants are now available for attendance at the 2010 ANZBA Aboriginal Health Worker Burns Seminar. The Travel grants will assist with the cost of travel and accommodation up to the value of $1,000.

Selection Criteria
Scholarships are competitive. You must show evidence or provide details about the following (max 500 words):
  • Health Service Manager support of attendance (Please attach letter of support)
  • Please provide a brief description of your role
  • How will your attendance at the Aboriginal Health Worker Burns Seminar benefit burns care practice for yourself and your health service? (50 words max)
  • How you plan to share your knowledge ie how will the knowledge gained at the Aboriginal Health Worker Burns Seminar / ANZBA ASM be shared within your Health Service? (50 words max)
  • Please provide an approximation of your cost for attending the Aboriginal Health Worker Burns Seminar
