2018 Clipsal National Community Grants



Applications for the final round of the Clipsal National Community Grants Program will open Monday 8th January and close at 5:00pm on Friday 2nd March 2018.

Applications are open to those working in the field of burns with a focus on prevention, care and support projects. All applications will be reviewed by the Program Selection Committee and applicants will be contacted to advise of the outcome of their application. Funding is available for grants up to $15,000 inc GST.

FIRST AID QUICK GUIDE
In an emergency call 000
1. REMOVE
Remove any clothing and jewellery from the affected area to allow effective cooling of the burn.
2. COOL
Cool the burn under cool running water for 20 minutes - this will stop the burning process and also help ease the pain.
3. COVER
Cover the burn with a clean lint free cloth or if it is a large area, cover loosely with cling wrap to lessen the chance of infection.
4. SEEK
Seek medical advice if the burn is larger than a 20 cent piece or on the face, hands, feet or groin area.
